The department is offering B.Sc.Physics in shift-I and shift-II and M.Sc.Physics. B.Sc.Physics course was started during the year 1979. M.Sc.Physics was started during the academic year 2003-2004 as a self-finance course and it was approved as regular course from the academic year 2007-2008. B.Sc.Physics (Shift-II) Tamil and English Medium are also introduced in the same year. The department has well established laboratories and modernized equipments for UG and PG courses. Highly qualified and experienced faculty members are sincerely supporting the development of the department.
