ABOUT  IQAC

             The IQAC plays a vital role for quality sustenance and enhancement in the College. The IQAC will make a significant and meaningful contribution in the post accreditation phase of the college. The IQAC will channelize the efforts and measures of the college towards academic excellence.

      FUNCTIONS  OF  IQAC

  • To design and implement Annual Plans for college level activities for quality enhancement.

  • To develop innovative practices in various activities leading to quality enhancement.

  • To maintain a record of attendance, assignments, question papers, syllabus coverage, laboratory records etc., to ensure quality in education.

  • To conduct seminars, conferences and workshops to update the knowledge of the students.

  • To develop a quality culture in the college.

  • To maintain documents of various programmes that lead to quality improvement.

  • To make the college campus into Plastic free campus.

  • To prepare Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR). 

     

    Plan of action: 2016 - 2017

    1.      First meeting for all IQAC members.

    2.      Orientation programme for first year UG and PG Students.

    3.      Activities reflecting the goals and objectives of the college.

    4.      Academic schedules like classes, practical, examination, project reviews, sports, academic calendar, etc.

    5.      Maintaining a record of attendance, assignments, question papers, syllabus coverage, laboratory records, etc.

    6.      Improving infrastructure facilities in the departments.

    7.      Strengthening continuous Internal Assessment process.

    8.      Organizing conferences, workshops and seminars by various departments.

    9.      Financial assistance to establish IQAC office.

    10.  Starting research in frontier area.

    11.  Preparation of question papers as per University Examination pattern.

    12.  Evaluation of answer papers.

    13.  Promotion of e-sources.

    14.  Making the college campus into plastic free campus.

    15.  Attending conferences and workshops by the faculty members.

    16.  Organizing scientific meeting by the faculty members.

    17.  Strengthening faculty club activities.

    18.  Encouraging all UG students to enroll in any one of the following programmes: NSS, YRC, RRC, Consumer club, Rotary club, Yoga club, Dance club, Music club (oral/ instrumental), Photographic club, etc.

    19.  Improving extension activities of the departments.

    20.  Certificate courses in Tailoring, Cookery, Photo shops, etc.

    21.  Functioning of students Alumni chapters and parent teacher chapters.

    22.  Feedback from students, parents and faculty members.
